Our MSC-certified white fish mix is responsibly sourced from well-managed fisheries in the Northeast Atlantic (FAO 27), a region recognized for its cold, nutrient-rich waters and strong fishery management standards. The blend consists of plaice, cod, saithe, pollock, haddock, and whiting, and is produced from heads, frames, and tails remaining after filleting, without viscera, supporting full resource utilization and minimizing waste. MSC certification confirms that the fish originates from independently audited fisheries that adhere to strict environmental and stock management requirements, helping to protect marine ecosystems and ensure long-term sustainability.
The fish is ground (<10 mm), homogeneously mixed, and supplied in frozen blocks to preserve freshness and product quality. Full traceability is maintained in line with EU food safety standards, ensuring complete transparency throughout the supply chain, with strict temperature control applied during processing and storage to safeguard integrity. Each batch undergoes rigorous quality and safety checks, including advanced detection systems to ensure the absence of foreign bodies, contaminants, and additives, delivering a safe, sustainable, and consistently high-quality ingredient.
