Salmon

Salmo salar
Category 3In stock

Our MSC-certified salmon is responsibly sourced from the North Pacific (FAO 67), a region recognized for its well-managed fisheries and structured monitoring systems supporting sustainable stock management. This area is subject to scientific assessments and regulated harvesting practices to help maintain healthy salmon populations and long-term ecological balance. MSC certification confirms that the salmon originates from independently audited fisheries that meet strict environmental and traceability standards, supporting responsible fishing practices, marine ecosystem protection, and sustainable resource use.

The product consists of 100% salmon and is produced as an uncooked fish mix, ground and homogeneously mixed. It is made from heads, frames, and tails remaining after filleting, without viscera, supporting full resource utilization and minimizing waste. The salmon is ground to a standard <10 mm at high speed and supplied in frozen blocks to preserve freshness and quality. It is free from foreign bodies, contaminants, and additives, with strict quality controls applied throughout processing to ensure safety, traceability, and consistent product integrity.
